Two Important Announcements – prices going up and our upcoming holiday weekend closure
PRICE INCREASE COMING ON JULY 1ST
Inflation continues to have a significant negative pricing impact on our business.
Just as in every other industry where products and services are distributed through a physical supply chain involving significant usage of gas-powered transportation (in our case diesel-powered flatbeds), our cost of goods sold has continued to rise throughout the last half of last year and now the first half of this year. We have been hoping against hope here at Stone Distributors that inflation would be transitory or at least start to level off. Unfortunately, that has not happened.
We are now at the point where we have no choice but to pass along some of our cost increases in our pricing. As of July 1st (Friday) our prices are rising. We realize this is an inconvenience, but we also know that you all understand it is a part of doing business (and staying in business) during times like these.
Even with this price rise we will continue to keep our prices lower than most of our competitors because we maintain that high quality does not need to mean exorbitant prices to you. We maintain the belief that building a strong business entails superior customer service combined with selling high quality product at a good price. That is how you continue to build a base of loyal customers to your business. You truly become a part of our Stone Distributors’ family! OUR INDEPENDENCE DAY HOLIDAY WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
After regular hours through the end of business on Friday, we will be closing for the Independence Day holiday weekend from Saturday, July 2nd through Monday, July 4th. Reopening for regular hours on Tuesday, July 5th at 7:30 a.m.
