Another year is almost gone – only 2 weeks left in 2021. Here at Stone Distributors that also means there are only 2 weeks left to our current 2021 prices.
The significant spike in gas prices along with other rising costs throughout our supply chains are forcing us to do one of our least favorite things: increasing our prices. As many of you are well aware, we have held the line since increasing our prices back at the beginning of March of this year. While virtually every one of our competitors raised their prices multiple times throughout 2021, we have not.
A number of you in fact have pointed out that at least one of our competitors seemed to be raising their prices on a biweekly basis. We did not, despite the significant, continual inflationary pressures we have faced, just like everyone else.
Unfortunately, we must succumb to our cost increases eventually as well. If you are in need of any stone, mulch or other landscape or hardscape materials for current or 2022 projects you have planned, NOW is the time to lock in our best pricing.
In addition, here is our schedule for the upcoming Christmas and New Years’ holidays, which both fall on a Saturday this year:
Next week (Christmas) – we are closed Friday, Christmas Eve, December 24th and Saturday, Christmas Day, December 25th.
Following week (New Year’s) – we are open Friday, New Years Eve, December 31st regular hours (until 4:00 p.m.). We are closed on Saturday, January 1st, 2022 (New Year’s Day). Reopening to our normal schedule again on Monday, January 3rd, 2022 at 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
