In last week’s article we discussed why now is actually a great time to start making your plans and taking the initial steps for your stone and landscaping projects that you want to execute next spring and summer. Today, in the 2nd article of this 3-part series, we reveal three types of projects in particular that you should be starting your prep work on right now.
Here are 3 projects that incorporate stone that you want to get started on before the end of this year:
- Installing a Pool and Pool Deck – this is a multi-layered project that requires quite a bit of coordination to get all of the components to come together as smoothly as possible. Not only will it require multiple contractors, but it will also require varied types of materials, at least some of which you will be choosing yourself.
- Building an Outdoor Kitchen – If you want anything more than just your basic portable grill you will be hiring a contractor – and maybe even multiple contractors – to complete this type of project. An outdoor kitchen will most likely involve an electrician and a plumber in addition to the builder. Coordination of their time on site at your home is a must, which makes setting it up now if you want to get the best ones a must, also.
- Constructing a Patio – Building a patio is usually a complicated enough project that you will need a contractor to build it correctly. Like with the other two projects already mentioned, once you commit to doing a project that will include a contractor, now is the time to try and book that contractor for next spring.
In the 3rd and last installment of this series of articles next week we will discuss three other projects that due to their complexity and most likely needing a contractor are additional projects you should consider getting started on now.
