Our end-of-the-week Fresh Off The Truck (FOTT) shipment that arrived on our yard from Tennessee yesterday features a strong assortment of Flagstone and Fieldstone for you to purchase and take to your job site.
As these pictures illustrate, this shipment included Standard Crab Orchard Brown Flagstone, Medium, Thick and Quarried Stack Fieldstone, Stepping Stones, and 18” x 18” and 18” x 36” Stair Treads.

Talking about Standard Crab Orchard Brown Flagstone… this latest shipment brings our current inventory of this one-of-a-kind Flagstone up to between 18 and 19 tons.
What makes Standard Crab Orchard Brown Flagstone unique is the way it was formed. For millions of years layer after layer of sediment layered settled and then have been pressed together under constant pressure from newer layers combined with the force of gravity. The result are these strikingly beautiful and unique marbling patterns that include an almost endless variety of colors often with a base of brown, tan and/or buff but will also have rust, red, gray and even pink (as evidenced by pictures we posted in this previous article).
Here are just a few of the pieces we have on our yard right now… won’t these look amazing as the centerpiece to your patio, deck, walkway or wall? HECK YEAHHH!
As you can plainly see from this and previous pictures, the name “Standard Crab Orchard Brown” is really a misnomer. There is little that is “Standard” about this type of Flagstone. And as a result, you can make any stone project you incorporate this stone into look unique from any other you will ever see. Very cool, right?
