2 new stone products for you – “Fresh Off The Truck” and ready for you to take home today!

If you have seen our “Fresh Off The Truck” Facebook and Instagram series of mini-photo albums recently you may have noticed two new types of stone that we now have available on our lot. In this article we want to share a bit more in depth information with you on each new product and why they are both proving to be quite popular with our contractors and homeowner customers alike.

CANYON CREEK ASHLAR FLAGSTONE

The first type of new stone is Canyon Creek Ashlar Flagstone. As you can see in the pictures we posted in the “Fresh Off The Truck” and are re-showcasing in this article, this is a beautiful stone that you will not find in many places here in northern Georgia. Why? Because it does not come from Tennessee like many of the stones you will find here and at most stone suppliers in our area.

Canyon Creek Ashlar Flagstone – Blue/Gray variety

You can see that Canyon Creek Ashlar offers a deepness and richness in both color variations (brown and blue/gray) that sets it apart from other Flagstones. Furthermore, its high-level of consistency makes it great for walls – particularly jointless walls. So if you are looking for a top-of-the-line product to incorporate into the outside (or inside) walls of your home, in a patio or a fireplace feature (outdoors or indoors) this could be exactly the Flagstone you are looking for.

Do you want a more squarish rectangular look, or a more elongated rectangular look? Either way, when you come into Stone Distributors we will show you this new Canyon Creek Ashlar stone or the wide variety of other Flagstone we have in stock and you will be able to make the choice that suits your desired look the best.

Canyon Creek Ashlar Flagstone – Brown/Gold Variety

Here’s proof of just how beautiful this new Canyon Creek Ashlar is – a ringing endorsement from none other than our very own Cainon – he of the over 20 years of experience building hundreds of all types of stone walls, patios, walkways, decks and gardens on properties throughout Georgia. “I have to figure out a way to get some of this Canyon Creek Ashlar for myself and put it into one of my stone projects at home. This Flagstone really is THAT beautiful.”

CANYON CREEK RUBBLE STRIPS

The second type of new stone that really stands out in the pictures we posted are the Canyon Creek Rubble Strips. These Rubble Strips also come in both brown and blue/gray color varieties. There are several features of these Rubble Strips that make them stand out above others, including:

Canyon Creek Rubble Strips – Blue/Gray variety
  1. Canyon Creek Rubble Strips are much more consistent in size (thickness and length) than different Rubble strips you see at other stone suppliers. As a result,
  2. The better consistency makes it easier for you or your contractor to dig the trenches necessary for installing these stones.
    1. Your finished edging stones will come out looking more consistent for your patios, walkways, pathways and decks.
    1. Your labor time and subsequent cost is reduced significantly. For both the contractor, the homeowner and the DIYer
  3. The color consistency is better. Customers tend to like the consistency of these Rubble strips better than others we have offered. The colors, both the blue/green and the brown, are really eye-catching to most people who see it for the first time when they come onto our lot.
