Paul-Thomas (PT) Ketchem
P.T. has been with Stone Distributors 3 years this spring. I inherited him when I purchased the company and I am glad to have him aboard. He is currently a student at KSU and will be graduating this year with a degree in Engineering.
His experience as well as his engineering studies have led to his strong ability to calculate accurately the amount of material many of you will need for your projects. His customer service is extraordinary, and it is apparent with the customers he helps. He has people come in and ask to work with him, because he has been helping them for years now.
Chad Parkman
Chad is fairly new to the business as well as the company. That does not mean he is not a good source of information. Chad was my second hire and he is a quick learner and has the understanding needed to help the customers.
His past is primarily in the restaurant business, which I have worked in, so he is accustomed to helping customers, especially contractors, get what they need and get it off the yard and to the site in a timely manner. He also understands the importance of customer service, since that industry is also essentially a customer driven field, just as this one is. In the time he has been here he has accepted our philosophy and learned the ins and outs of the stone industry. He is also getting a following of customers that like to work with him.
Now, if you are comfortable working with a particular staff member, by all means, continue to do so. But I want you to know that everyone here is eager to help and has the knowledge to help anyone. Plus, I am required to give them time off occasionally, lol, so they might not be here when you come. Once again please feel free to ask anyone of us your question.
